Kim Cattrall joins the cast of Glamorous

Kim Cattrall will star as a make-up mogul in a new Netflix series.

The 65-year-old actress - who is best known for playing Samantha Jones in 'Sex and the City' - will play a starring role in 'Glamorous', which is due to begin shooting in Toronto in July.

Kim will appear alongside YouTuber Miss Benny, who is playing the part of Marco Mejia, a gender non-conforming queer person.

The ten-episode series is being written and executive produced by Jordon Nardino, according to Variety, which reports that Damon Wayans Jr. and Kameron Tarlow of Two Shakes Entertainment will also executive produce the project.

'Glamorous' was originally ordered as a pilot at The CW in 2019, but it's now been picked up by Netflix.

Meanwhile, Michael Patrick King recently confirmed that Samantha Jones will feature in season two of 'And Just Like That...', the 'Sex and the City' revival series.

Kim didn't appear in season one of the HBO Max show, but her iconic character will play a part in the upcoming episodes.

Kim isn't expected to reprise her role on screen, but she recently insisted Samantha will "live forever".

The actress - who starred in 'Sex and the City' alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon - remains proud of the character and is confident that her legacy will live on for years to come.

She said: "I think the character of Samantha was awakened 25 years ago and she will live forever.

"She's your best friend, and she's someone who will tell you the truth. Because she's been there and done that.

"I love her so much. But she lives in a time and a place, and I honor that."

Prince Charles 'told not to meddle in politics'

Prince Charles has been urged not to meddle in politics.

The 73-year-old royal has been encouraged to steer clear of politics after he was recently reported to have made comments about the UK government's policy of deporting migrants to Rwanda.

An unnamed senior cabinet member told The Sunday Times newspaper: "Prince Charles is an adornment to our public life, but that will cease to be charming if he attempts to behave the same way when he is king. That will present serious constitutional issues."

The source also insisted that any differences of opinion should be discussed behind closed doors.

The insider explained: "A lot of his views on architecture and horticulture are interesting, and I would always be willing to listen to them privately. But that's very different from him making public interventions as monarch.

"The Queen's genius is that most of us have no idea what she thinks."

Another cabinet member suggested that Charles will adopt a different approach once he becomes king.

The source said: "While this kind of intervention will be tolerated while he is the Prince of Wales, the same will not be true when he becomes king."

Charles is said to have been privately critical of the controversial policy, which will see migrants being sent to the central African country later this month.

A source recently shared: "[Charles] said he was more than disappointed at the policy.

"He said he thinks the government's whole approach is appalling. It was clear he was not impressed with the government's direction of travel."

The policy was introduced in April in an effort to discourage people trying to cross the English Channel from France in small boats.

However, a spokesperson for the prince has insisted that he remains politically neutral.

The spokesperson for Clarence House said: "We would not comment on supposed anonymous private conversations with the Prince of Wales, except to restate that he remains politically neutral. Matters of policy are decisions for government."

Taylor Swift wants to make a film

Taylor Swift wants to write and direct her own feature film.

The 32-year-old singer took a step from directing her own music videos to craft 'All Too Well: The Short Film' - a 13-minute promo for the extended version of her song of the same name, which stars Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien - and she now wants to take her filmmaking career even further.

She said: "It would be so fantastic to write and direct a feature.

"I don't see it being bigger in terms of scale. I loved making a film that was so intimate with a crew that was relatively small, just a really solid group of people that I trusted."

During a screening of her short in New York City as part of the Tribeca Festival, the 'Love Story' hitmaker reflected on her journey from "meddling" in her music videos to directing the 2019 promo for 'The Man'.

She told filmmaker Mike Mills: "I was always very curious. I was always looking, and learning, and trying to absorb as much as I possibly could.

"A few music videos [into my career], I just started going into the edit, and making changes.

"It started with meddling, and it went from meddling with the edit to then writing the treatments for the music videos… That was almost ten years ago."

After writing the treatment for 'The Man', she attempted to hire a female director but none she knew were available, so she sought advice from Lana Wilson, who was directing her 'Miss Americana' documentary at the time, and took the reigns on the video herself.

She said: "Once I started directing music videos, I didn't not want to do it."

However, Taylor admitted she was filled with doubts about her capabilities.

She said: "I think I had this imposter syndrome in my head saying, 'No, you don't do that. Other people do that who went to school to [direct],'" explained Swift.

When Mike, 63, told her he hadn't gone to school to learn to direct, she replied: "Oh! It's fantastic to know that. That makes me feel better.

"Don't you feel like it's an amazing exercise in trusting gut instinct? There are so many decisions you have to make. Saying 'I don't know' or 'I'm not sure' really isn't an option most of the time."

Elvis Costello slams Platinum Jubilee concert

Elvis Costello has branded the Platinum Party at the Palace concert "s****" and singled out Sir Rod Stewart's performance for particular criticism.

The 'Oliver's Army' hitmaker was unimpressed by last weekend's star-studded musical extravaganza - which featured performances from the likes of Queen, Diana Ross, George Ezra and Elbow - and mocked the 'Maggie May' singer for his widely-panned rendition of 'Sweet Caroline'.

Speaking on stage in Glasgow, Elvis, 67, told the audience: "I was in Brighton the other night when the Jubilee was happening. But the show was good, wasn't it? Wasn't it? No, it was s****.

"I mean, I know you all love him and he's one of yours and everything, but Rod. What the f***?

"I must say, listen we all have bad nights vocally, but for f*** sake, 'Sweet f***ing Caroline'.

"Are you f***ing kidding me?

"I mean I've been in showbusiness 45 years so I do know a thing or two. How is it that nobody suggested Rod sing 'You Wear It Well'?"

Elvis then joked Diana, who sang 'Chain Reaction', could have chosen other tracks from her back catalogue that would have been more appropriate.

He quipped: "Listen, Diana Ross had a whole playlist of songs that would have fitted the occasion: 'You Keep Me Hanging On', 'I'm Living In Shame'. I'm not saying 'Love Child'.

"You never heard it from me."

Rod's wife, Penny Lancaster, previously defended her husband and insisted it wasn't his choice to sing the Neil Diamond classic.

She said: "The BBC said Rod we need you to sing 'Sweet Caroline', it's the Queen's favourite you have to do it so he didn't have much of a choice."

And it was "touch and go" as to whether the 77-year-old star would even perform after COVID-19 affected his voice.

Penny said: "It was very very touch and go and he was so nervous leading up to it and he was three weeks in Vegas and caught covid just after the last show, he came home and was past the ten day period of being contagious but he lost his voice.

"So the sound check on the Wednesday he went along and wore a mask but had no voice and he was like how long can I leave it?"

"So he went for another rehearsal on the Friday but his voice is there now but he wasn't quite on, but he didn't want to disappoint anybody. It wasn't the Rod Stewart show it was for the nation and for everybody to come together for the Queen and he wanted to please the people so that was the song."

Viola Davis slams Hollywood escapism

Viola Davis has slammed Hollywood "escapism".

The 'Suicide Squad' actress believes the expectations of films now to create unrealistic entertainment and to capitalise on commercial opportunities is ruining the opportunity to craft complex characters and is "destroying our art form".

She said: "Social media has taken over the defining of this art form. I think that the word 'escapism' is something that is interesting -- the goal all of us have is to sit in a movie with the popcorn and Sour Patch Kids and forget about our lives -- but, literally, it destroys our art form.

"Every time you're in a room selling a narrative, it's about how much you can create a story that allows us to escape.

"The characters then become a Mr. Potato Head, become Bobble Heads. We forget who these people are really until a movie comes along and blows our mind."

The 56-year-old star - who stressed she is a fan of commercial fare such as Marvel movies - explained she and her husband, Julius Tennon created their production Company JuVee Productions to help explore more realistic stories.

Viola believes such projects exist for "seeing ourselves, our mess."

She added at the Produced By Conference: "But those narratives usually don't have people in it who look like us. It's a resistance to our humanity."

And the 'How To Get Away With Murder' star called on filmmakers to be "bolder" and push their more daring ideas.

Asked by a Kenyan filmmaker how she and Julius have dealt with rejection when pitching their projects, she said: "I would be bolder. I have to say, especially as a Black person, there's so many things that are taboo. Most of the people you're in the room asking for money or for a greenlight, there are certain things you don't say. It's going to be too insulting. You don't know until you try."

Julius added: "My mother always said, a closed mouth doesn't get fed."

Britney Spears' mom breaks silence after wedding

Britney Spears' mother is "so happy" for the singer following her recent wedding.

The 'Toxic' hitmaker married long-term partner Sam Asghari on Thursday (09.06.22) at her home in Thousand Oaks, California, and though she didn't invite her parents Jamie and Lynne Spears, or her sister Jamie Lynn, to her celebrations, her mom couldn't be more thrilled for her daughter.

After Britney - who did invite her brother Bryan to the ceremony but he didn't attend - shared some photos from her wedding on Instagram, Lynne commented: "You look radiant and so happy!

"Your wedding is the 'Dream' wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special!

"I am soooo happy for you! I love you! (sic)"

Britney's relationship with her family has been strained due to the 13-year conservatorship she was under until November 2021, meaning she didn't extend an invitation to her wedding to her parents - who are divorced - or her sister, who she has previously been critical of over her tell-all memoir.

The 'Gimme More' hitmaker's two sons, Sean Preston, 16, and 15-year-old Jayden - who she has with ex-husband Kevin Federline - declined to attend the wedding but said they were "happy" for their mother.

However, Sam had several members of his family at the celebrations, including his three sisters.

The 40-year-old singer has praised her "beautiful" wedding guests, who included Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Paris Hilton and Selena Gomez.

She wrote on Instagram: "So many incredible people came to our wedding and I'm still in shock !!! @drewbarrymore my girl crush and @selenagomez who btw is way prettier in person if that's possible both came !!! I was speechless … I kissed @madonna again and we danced into the night with @ParisHilton … Thank you @donatella_versace for designing my dress … I felt so beautiful … Thank you also to @StephanieGottlieb @CharlotteTilbury and @sofiatilbury for my jewelry and makeup !!! I think we all fell on the dance floor at least 2 times !!! I mean come on … we were all VOGUING !!! @SamAsghari I LOVE YOU !!! (sic)."

You've got to know about money to maintain it, says Cardi B

Cardi B is determined to "maintain" her wealth.

The 29-year-old rap star is one of the world's best-selling musicians - but Cardi doesn't take her success for granted and she's always keeping one eye on the state of the economy.

After one her Twitter followers questioned Cardi for reposting a report about a potential recession in 2023, she replied on the micro-blogging platform: "Why is it far fetch for me to know finance when I have a business ,pay taxes and own stocks ? You gotta know about money to maintain it (sic)"

The 'WAP' hitmaker worked as a stripper before finding fame and success in the music business.

But Cardi previously insisted that she was actually happier before she started making money as a rapper.

Cardi - who has Kulture, three, and Wave, nine months, with rap star Offset - said: "One positive thing is that, my family, whatever they want, they get. Everything that I want to buy, I can get. I don't have to worry so much about my future.

"One negative thing is that, even though I'm happy, I feel like I was a little bit happier two or three years ago when I had less money. I had less people who had opinions about my life. I felt like my life was mine. Now I feel like I don't even own my life. I feel like the world owns me."

Despite this, Cardi doesn't have any plans to leave the spotlight.

She said: "I really want to accomplish more records, more Billboard hits.

"I might want to get into acting or designing clothes, but my real goal is to have beautiful kids, a beautiful mansion, and do business that makes me money until the day I die. Then be able pass it on to my children."

Rebel Wilson's romance with Ramona Agruma is 'very serious'

Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma are "very serious" about their romance.

The 42-year-old actress has been dating Ramona since January and they're "super happy together".

A source told People: "It's a very serious relationship and they're super happy together. It's been very cool for Rebel's friends to see her this secure with someone."

Rebel recently made her romantic relationship with Ramona public, as she posted a sweet snap of them together on her Instagram account.

The Hollywood star - who has more than 11 million followers on the photo-sharing platform - said: "I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince... but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess #loveislove. (sic)"

Another source recently claimed that the loved-up duo have already "discussed marriage and starting a family together".

The insider said: "She and Agruma have grown very close in a short time. Wilson's mother Sue Bownds, who lives in Sydney, recently flew to LA to meet Agruma, while the couple have openly discussed having a family and getting married."

Actor and singer Hugh Sheridan also recently revealed that he introduced Rebel and Ramona to each other.

He shared: "I'd been setting Rebel up with various people and Ramona up with various people. I'm a bit of a matchmaker in my spare time, but Rebel was a really hard one and so was Ramona.

"I think for a woman that is successful, it takes a strong man to stay with them, but I thought a woman with a woman that's successful might lift each other up.

"So I told Rebel later on and they spoke for a week before Rebel came back from Australia to meet her, and they've been together ever since."

Jeff Goldblum: I'd like to move to England

Jeff Goldblum wants to live in England.

The 69-year-old actor filmed 'Jurassic World Dominion' in the country and he'd love to relocate to Europe at some stage.

Jeff - who is married to former gymnast Emilie Livingston - shared: "I've had a great time here - I love England and would like to move here for a time in fact."

Jeff stars alongside Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt in the latest instalment in the money-spinning film franchise.

However, he found shooting the movie amid the COVID-19 pandemic to be a "harrowing" experience.

The Hollywood star told Sky News: "It's a disturbing, upsetting, tragic period - and for us, one of opportunity and mixed feeling, you can imagine. But with the opportunity to be together and protected by the new protocols that were being pioneered by Alexandra Derbyshire, one of our British producers, and Pat Crowley, it was great, but harrowing and bonding and unforgettable."

Bryce, 41, reprised the role of former park manager Claire Dearing in the new movie.

And the Hollywood star has relished the chance to work alongside Jeff, Sam and Laura, all of whom starred in the original 'Jurassic Park' movie in 1993.

Bryce - who is the daughter of actor-turned-director Ron Howard - said: "They're also at the absolute top of their game as actors. They're at their peaks, and I think that's something that as an actor, it was such a gift to be able to witness that.

"It was so inspiring to see that because it wasn't like they were just coming in and saying the lines, they were taking full ownership of these characters."

Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer's 'emotional' reunion

Filming Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer's 'Top Gun: Maverick' reunion was "an emotional day on set".

The pair previously worked together on the 1986 original and bringing their characters - Tom's Maverick and Val's Iceman - back together for the sequel, was a huge moment for director Joseph Kosinski.

Speaking on The Hollywood Reporter's 'Behind the Screen' podcast, Kosinski said: "To see how much respect they had for each other as actors, and to see a friendship that has evolved over 36 years - it really mirrored what you see on screen in the scene. They are just two actors at the top of their game doing this really beautiful scene for the film that's so important. It was a very emotional day on set."

Val has previously opened up about the damage to his voice after a tracheostomy in 2014 during his throat cancer battle and Kosinski revealed how they overcame those issues.

He said: "Val and Tom performed the scene, and then we enhanced Val's voice by blending it with another one, mostly for clarity, more than anything else."

And, after previously working with Cruise on 2013's 'Oblivion', Kosinski jumped at the chance to collaborate with him again.

He said: "He's not just an actor in your film. Obviously he's a producer on this, but it's really a partnership. He's involved with every aspect of the filmmaking and that collaboration is what he really feeds off of and enjoys. … He's just got this energy that is infectious."

Bob Saget's family home on sale for $7.6 million

Bob Saget's family home is for sale for $7.6 million (£6.2 million.)

The Los Angeles property in Crestwood Hills, where the comic lived for nearly 20 years, has been listed after he died on January 9 aged 65.

He purchased the six-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom estate in 2003 for $2.9 million (£2.4 million), according to the Wall Street Journal, with the 'Full House' star living there until his passing.

Features of the luxury home include Elan smart home technology which controls almost every ultra-premium utility.

Saget's nephew Adam told the New York Post: "Bob was very into tech. Over the years he put in smart house controls and automation throughout the home;"

Listed by 'Compass' and spanning around 6,600sq ft, the home was the product of Douglas Busch Design.

The beloved stand-up comic and sitcom star lived in the home with his widow Kelly Rizzo, 43, who Saget married in 2018.

She recently said about struggling with her grief: "It's like, he's still my husband. It's not like, 'Oh, he's my former husband'. It's like … the relationship is different now. It's just - it is what it is."

She recently moved into a new property but is still in touch with Saget's children.

Rizzo was stepmother to his three adult daughters, Lara Melanie Saget, 32, Aubrey Saget, 35, and Jennifer Belle Saget, 29, who the comic had with ex-wife Sherri Kramer, 65.

She told PEOPLE earlier this month: "His girls came to stay with me for you know, the first time since I moved into the new house just this last week, and they walked in and I was like, 'So it's kind of like a museum to your dad, so don't freak out but yes, he's everywhere.

"And then they'll catch me like talking to a picture every once in a while, and they're like 'Stepmommy Kelly, are you OK?'"

Saget was found unresponsive in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Florida, most likely from a fall, with eergency responders pronouncing him dead at the scene.

An autopsy later revealed he suffered blunt head trauma from an accidental blow to the back of his head and subsequently died from injuries in his sleep.

Bill Cosby's lawyers present memory defense at his sex assault trial

Bill Cosby's lawyers have presented expert testimony about memory ahead of closing arguments in his sexual assault case.

The legal team's witness is part of their bid to discredit a woman's account of Cosby allegedly sexually assaulting her 47 years ago.

Dr Deborah Davis, a psychologist and expert in sexual communication, told a court in California memories can fade over time and a person can develop false recollections based on details of unrelated events that happen later.

She said: "Distortion of memory can be because of things like societal change or the #MeToo movement.

"It can cause you to think about it differently and remember it differently."

Dr Davis is part of one of three experts Cosby's legal team was expected to call as it tries to persuade a jury in the trial in Santa Monica the comic's accuser Judy Huth fabricated an account of a sexual assault that she said happened in 1975 at the Playboy Mansion.

Huth, 64, testified earlier this week Cosby, 84, invited her to the house where he allegedly tried to put his hand down her pants and then forced her to perform a sex act on him.

She said she and her friend Donna Samuelson, then 17, met the comic while he was shooting a film in a park.

They walked over to the filming of 'Let's Do It Again' and Cosby is said to have approached the girls and "bantered" with them before inviting pair to meet him the following Saturday at a tennis club.

Huth's testimony came after Cosby's lawyers employed their 'Donkey Kong defense' in the case.

Its name refers to their response to Samuelson's claim of playing the video game at the Playboy Mansion in 1975, six years before its release.

Huth previously said the incident occurred in 1974, when she was 15, but recently said she now believes it was 1975.

The 12-person jury sitting on the case is expected to begin hearing closing arguments in the coming days.

Only nine of the 12 jurors must agree on a verdict.

Their decision must be based on a preponderance of the evidence, which is a different standard than that used in criminal trials, where proof must be found to be convincing beyond reasonable doubt.

Earlier in the trial, a forensic psychiatrist called by Huth's team said that traumatic memories from sexual assault were strongly embedded in a person's brain and victims could accurately recall the details of their trauma years and decades afterwards.

The civil trial is one of the last legal cases against Cosby.

It is taking place 11 months after 'The Cosby Show' star was freed from prison when Pennsylvania's highest court threw out his sexual assault conviction in a different case.

The comedian and actor saw his lovable family man reputation - built up playing dad Cliff Huxtable in the 1980s television comedy series - shattered when more than 50 women accused him of sexual assaults over nearly five decades.

In 2018, Cosby was found guilty of drugging and molesting Andrea Constand, 49, who worked at Temple University in Philadelphia, in his home in 2004.

Pennsylvania's Supreme Court last June overturned the conviction after the comic had served more than two years of a three to 10-year sentence.

The court said Cosby should not have faced the charges as a previous district attorney had publicly promised in 2005 not to prosecute the comedian and in March, the US Supreme Court declined to review the move.

Justin Bieber reveals he is stricken with 'serious' facial paralysis from Ramsay Hunt syndrome

Justin Bieber is stricken with facial paralysis from Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

The singer, 28, revealed how the condition had ravaged his expressions in an Instagram video posted two hours ago (10.06.22) - days after he axed upcoming dates on his 'Justice World Tour' due to what he called a non-Covid linked illness.

Wearing a green hat in a three-minute clip, Bieber told his 539.2 million social media fans: "Hey everyone Justin here, I wanted to update you guys on what's been going on.

"Obviously as you can probably see with my face. I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome and it is from this virus that attacks the nerves in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis.

"Can't believe I'm saying this. I've done everything to get better but my sickness is getting worse.

"My heart breaks that I will have to postpone these next few shows (doctors orders.) To all my people I love you so much and I'm gonna rest and get better."

Pointing to the left side of his face and showing how he his wouldn't blink and he couldn't smile, he added: "So there is full paralysis on this side my face. So for those who are frustrated by my cancellations of the next shows, I'm just physically obviously not capable of doing them. This is pretty serious as you can see.

"I wish this wasn't the case but obviously my body is telling me that I've got to slow down and I hope you guys understand.

"I will be using this time to rest and relax and get back to 100 percent so that I can do what I was born to do."

He titled the video 'IMPORTANT PLEASE WATCH. I love you guys and keep me in your prayers.'

Bieber announced on Tuesday he was postponing the following "few shows" of his 130-date 'Justice World Tour' due to a "non-Covid related illness".

If antiviral treatment is given within 72 hours of developing symptoms of the paralysis, around 70% of sufferers will have a virtually full recovery within weeks.

Bieber signed off his video by saying: "I love you guys. Thank you for being patient for me and I am going to get better. I'm doing all of these facial exercises to get my face back to normal and it will go back to normal.

"It's just time, we don't know how much time it will be, but it's going to be okay. I hope and I trust God and I trust that this is all for a reason.

"I'm not sure what that is right now but in the meantime I'm going to rest and I love you guys. Peace."

It comes after the singer's wife Hailey, 25, was hospitalised in March for a small blood clot in her brain which gave her stroke-like symptoms.

Sources told People at the time Bieber was "probably more traumatised than even she is".

Doctors feared her symptoms were linked to Covid as Bieber had been diagnosed with the virus earlier in March, but no conclusive evidence could be reached about their worries.

Megan Fox's wedding to Machine Gun Kelly will be 'enormous'

Megan Fox has laughed off rumours she's married Machine Gun Kelly in secret and insisted their eventual wedding is going to be "enormous".

The couple have been dating since 2020 and they got engaged in early 2021 but MGK sparked rumours they'd eloped by referring to the actress as his "wife" during an appearance at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas in May.

However, Megan, 36, is adamant the couple hasn't exchanged vows yet, telling The Evening Standard newspaper: "No, we are definitely not married. It's going to be enormous when we do."

She added of her partner: "To be with somebody who is like, 'I never want to hide, I want everyone to know I'm here. Look at me. Look at what I'm wearing'. That was definitely very inspiring."

The first rumours of a secret marriage emerged last month during MGKs performance at the Billboard Music Awards as the rocker dedicated his song 'Twin Flame' to her.

He told the audience: "I wrote this song for my wife. And this is for our unborn child."

It comes after Megan recently opened up about the couple's "rituals" which involve drinking each other's blood.

The 'Transformers' star explained: "I guess to drink each other's blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we're like 'Game of Thrones', drinking each other's blood. "It's just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other's blood on occasion for ritual purposes only."

MGK, 32, also previously shared a picture of himself wearing his fiancée's blood in a vial around his neck.

Carrie Underwood writes songs in the shower

Carrie Underwood writes songs in the shower.

The 'Before He Cheats' hitmaker sometimes has to take a break while washing her hair because an idea for a new piece of music has struck her, though she insisted inspiration "can happen anywhere, anytime".

She said: "I feel like I think a lot when I'm in the shower -- just 'cause what else are you doing when you're, like, washing your hair? - so I feel like I've had ideas spark [there].

"I have to stop what I'm doing and grab my phone while it's wet and type something out.

"I feel like you get ideas everywhere."

Carrie - who has sons Isaiah, seven, and three-year-old Jacob with husband Mike Fisher - has lost some of her ideas because she didn't write them down the minute inspiration struck.

She added to 'Entertainment Tonight': "I've woken up before and been like, 'Oh my gosh, I need to write that down.'

"Or I've done the opposite, and I've been like, 'I'll remember that,' then I totally don't remember and I'm sad that I didn't wake up in my bed and write it down.

"I've been inspired seeing things that my kids do or say."

Later this year, the 39-year-old star will be embarking on her 'Denim and Rhinestones' tour, but her sons won't be going on the road with her this time because she wants to keep their lives "as normal as possible", though they'll still come to a few of the concerts when they have time off from school.

She said: "My oldest is in school, so I would like to keep their lives as normal as possible.

"I would imagine you'll see 'em on the weekends here and there, but we roll back through Nashville quite a bit, so hopefully they can be a little more settled and Mommy can just come in and out as I need to."

Amy Winehouse to be the subject of a new biopic

Amy Winehouse will be the subject of a major new biopic.

The late singer's parents Mitch and Janis have given filmmakers their blessing to use her music.

British casting director Nina Gold is seeking an actress to bring Amy to life on the big screen and her choice will be ratified by the star's family, who are involved in every aspect of the project.

A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: "Nina's been searching in theatre schools and drama groups, looking for someone around 20 years old who will be made into a star."

Winehouse became a global star with hits such as 'Back to Black' and 'Rehab' but her career was plagued by drug and alcohol addiction. She passed away in 2011 aged just 27 of alcohol poisoning.

Mitch and Janis were upset by Asif Kapadia's 2015 documentary 'Amy' and released their own TV documentary 'Reclaiming Amy' - which featured home movie footage of the star and recollections of their daughter - which aired on the tenth anniversary of her death in 2021.

Gold is experienced in unearthing talent and propelled Daisy Ridley to fame in the 'Star Wars' franchise and also found Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner for the TV series 'Game of Thrones'.

The casting director - who chose Colin Firth to play King George VI in the acclaimed movie 'The King's Speech' - previously explained how it can be challenging to find the right performer to portray a real-life figure.

She explained: "You do need to make a decent stab at making them look a bit similar to the real person. It can be quite a lot to do with capturing the essence rather than a lookalike approach.

"Colin Firth looks nothing like the real Bertie and is much taller and was older than he was supposed to be. But he was so brilliant that one doesn't even think about that, and he certainly made the role his own."

John Stamos shares Bob Saget's heartbreaking final message

John Stamos has shared the heartbreaking final text message sent to him by Bob Saget.

The actor was left devastated by the death of his former 'Full House' co-star back in January and he recently took part in a Netflix tribute to the TV star in which he revealed their final conversation was both emotional and light-hearted.

During the recording of the show, John said: "I'm going to read my last text from Bob. It said, 'I love you so much. I will say that God gave me the brother that I wanted'."

John told the audience he responded, saying: "Well, you have a lot of 'God-given brothers,' but I'm first, right?" and Bob replied: "(John) Mayer's an amazing friend, but he's more fair-weather. You are always there, so you're number one."

Musician John Mayer was in the audience for the taping of 'Dirty Daddy: The Bob Saget Tribute' and was seen laughing at clapping after the text exchange was revealed.

The special show debuts on Netflix on Friday (10.06.22).

Bob, 65, was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida on January 9 and his death sent shockwaves across Hollywood.

John, 58, tweeted: "I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby."

The actor went on to address mourners at Bob's funeral and his heartfelt speech was published by the Los Angeles Times. It read in part: "The worldwide ocean of love for him has been unbelievable. Though it's been hard for me to look at the tributes, stories, magazine covers, millions of social media posts, I feel everyone out there is getting it right, saying the perfect thing, remembering Bob in these remarkable ways.

"I just wish he knew how much the world loved him when he was here. I spent many a night trying to convince him of how loved he really was (or maybe it was the other way around - him trying to convince me how loved he was). But that was just Bob bluster. There's no way he thought his death would have this kind of impact. This is the kind of coverage that speaks to someone who genuinely connected with people, and not just for a moment, but for generations."

Vladimir Putin needed 'urgent medical assistance'

Vladimir Putin was reportedly in need of "urgent medical assistance" this week.

The Russian president was said to have been struck down by "sharp sickness, weakness and dizziness" during a 90-minute virtual meeting with military bosses and has been told by doctors not to make any "lengthy" public appearances.

According to the General SVR channel on messaging app Telegram, the sudden illness was the real reason why Putin annual 'Direct Line' live broadcast has been postponed with no plans in place to reschedule.

The Q and A session - which would see the politician take questions from Russian citizens - had been scheduled for later this month or early in July but it is now unclear if it will ever happen at all.

General SVR said: "The postponement of the live [Direct Line] with the President indefinitely is due to the unstable health of Vladimir Putin.

"A week ago, the president was preparing to answer the questions of the Russian citizens in late June-early July.

"But his doctors advised him not to make any lengthy public appearances in the near future.

"The latest argument in favour of not speaking to the public was an incident after a recent one-and-a-half hour video-link meeting with representatives of the military bloc…

"After the meeting Putin felt a sharp sickness, weakness and dizziness while trying to get up from the table."

Despite the claims, the 69-year-old President made a rare public appearance in Moscow on Thursday (09.06.22) when he addressed young entrepreneurs, engineers, and scientists at an event marking the 350th anniversary of the birth of Peter the Great.

He said in a speech:"What was (Peter) doing? Taking back and reinforcing. That's what he did. And it looks like it fell on us to take back and reinforce as well."

The General SVR channel claims to receive inside intelligence and have previously alleged Putin has cancer and Parkinson's disease.

Ray Liotta's daughter speaks out for first time since Goodfellas star's death

Ray Liotta's daughter has praised her late father as the "best dad anyone could ask for".

Karsen Liotta has spoken out for the first time since the 'Goodfellas' actor passed away last month aged 67, and she has thanked her father for "everything".

She wrote on Instagram: "Those who knew him, loved him. You are the best Dad anyone could ask for. I love you. Thank you for everything"

Ray's fiancée Jacy Nittolo recently paid tribute to her late significant other following his death.

Jacy - who got engaged to the movie star in December 2020 - wrote on Instagram: "My life these past couple of years have been nothing but truly magical.

"Ray and I share a deep love that I will cherish in my heart forever. We laughed daily and we were inseparable. The chemistry was wild in the best way. He was everything in the world to me and we couldn't get enough of each other.

"The kind of real love that one dreams of. He was the most beautiful person inside and out that I've ever known…and even that is an understatement. (sic)"

Legendary director Martin Scorsese - who helmed 'Goodfellas', in which Ray portrayed mobster Henry Hill - has also paid tribute to the Hollywood star.

He said: "Playing Henry Hill in 'Goodfellas' was a tall order, because the character had so many different facets, so many complicated layers, and Ray was in almost every scene of a long, tough shoot.

"He absolutely amazed me, and I'll always be proud of the work we did together on that picture.

"My heart goes out to his loved ones, and it aches for his loss, way too early."

Nick Cannon jokes he 'needs' a vasectomy in funny commercial

Nick Cannon joked he "needs" a vasectomy in a hilarious commercial for Aviation Gin.

The 'Wild 'N Out' star - who has 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, five-year-old son Golden and 18-month-old daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell and 12-month-old twin sons Zion and Zillion with pregnant Abby De La Rosa, and is also expecting another baby with Bre Tiesi - poked fun at his large brood in the funny Father's Day clip for Ryan Reynolds' spirits brand.

He said in the video: "It's almost Father's Day and the one and only Ryan Reynolds asked me to help us all celebrate with the mother of all cocktails. The Vasectomy. Lord knows I need one."

"Throwing ice everywhere, he continued through gritted teeth: "Let me show you how to make it. First, fill a tall glass with ice. The way children fill our lives with so much joy.

"Next, pour in one oz of cranberry juice. Sweet, just like their little smiles.

"Then pour 3oz of tonic, so bubbly.... Just like I feel every day when I wake up after a long full night's sleep."

He then dropped the bottle on the floor as he stared at the camera, before continuing: "Now, add a dash of lemon juice. Fresh if you have a few minutes to squeeze one, or, store-bought if the little ones had you running about a bit today. Little mother...

"Finally, add 1.5 oz of American Aviation gin. The world's highest rated gin for the world's highest rated job - dad."

But the commercial had to cut as Nick poured half a bottle of the spirit into the glass instead of sticking to the instruction, but it resumed as he continued with the appropriate measure.

Adding a strip of curled orange peel, he said: "Stir, and then we're going to garnish with a little slice of sunshine. And that looks like a delicious vasectomy."

Ryan then walked onto the set and took the drink, telling his pal: "I'll take it from here Nick - I have three kids."

But he spat out the cocktail when Nick replied: "I have eight."

The camera then faded to black as the 'Deadpool' star - who has three daughters with wife Blake Lively - could be heard saying: "Come on, bring it in, just hold each other... No wonder you have eight kids, you smell amazing."

After confirming earlier this year he was expecting a baby with Bre, Nick teased a few days ago that he's got even more kids on the way.

Asked about speculation he has "three babies" due this year after Abby revealed last week she is pregnant again, without naming the father, he said: "When you say 'on the way...' what count are you at? Let's just put it this way... the stork is on the way."

When asked if he's currently expecting three children, he added: "I don't know, it could be... ."

The 'Masked Singer' star then suggested he plans on breaking his personal fatherhood record by declaring: "If you thought it was a lot of kids last year..."

Last June, he had twins Zion and Zillion with Abby, 31, and the following month he and Alyssa Scott, 27, had son Zen, who tragically died on December 5 after battling brain cancer.

Snoop Dogg gives his personal 'blunt roller' a pay rise

Snoop Dogg has given his personal "blunt roller" a pay rise due to "inflation".

The rapper employs a member of staff to roll his marijuana joints for him and previously revealed he pays them between $40,000 and $50,000 a year - but the star has admitted their wages have now gone up due to the rising cost of living.

He made the admission in response to a post on Twitter by Uberfacts which stated: "Snoop Dogg employs a full-time blunt roller who makes between $40,000 and $50,000 a year."

The hip-hop star responded: "Inflation. Their salary went up!!"

Snoop previously opened up about the unusual role in an interview with US shock jock Howard Stern. When asked why they were employed, Snoop replied: "Timing. That motherf*****'s timing is impeccable. That's his job, his occupation. On his resume, it says, 'What do you do?' 'I'm a blunt roller. P-B-R, professional blunt roller.'"

The star went on to reveal the blunt roller gets plenty of other perks on top of the salary, adding: "(The salary is) somewhere between $40,000 and $50,000 a year. Free weed -- all paid expenses. Everything I get, he gets. I go get some free clothes, I give him some."

It comes after Snoop recently claimed he's "changed his ways" when it comes to smoking weed.

The 50-year-old rap star is famous for his advocacy of marijuana and was pictured smoking a joint as he walked the red carpet at the MTV Movie and TV Awards back in 2021 but decided not to light up for the 2022 ceremony on June 5.

He said: "No, I ain't smoking tonight. I'm trying to abide by the law. I've changed my ways. I've become better."

Anthony Anderson agrees to pay his estranged wife backdated spousal support

Anthony Anderson has agreed to pay his estranged wife backdated spousal support.

The 51-year-old actor was married to Alvina Stewart from 1999 until she filed for divorce in March and according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, he must pay her retroactive spousal support from the date they separated.

The documents read: "Alvina has asked the court to exercise its jurisdiction, [and make spousal support orders retroactive to March 1, 2022] or the date of their separation, whichever is later."

However, the legal team working with the 'Black-ish' star is reportedly arguing that payments should start from the beginning of June as opposed to March,

As part of their divorce settlement, the couple - who have Kyra, 26, and Nathan, 22, together - are said to have agreed to sell their home in Encino, California, and split the profits evenly between themselves.

The wife of the former 'Law and Order' actor had initially filed for divorce back in 2015 but filed two dismiss the petition two years later before filing for the second time on March 25 and citing irreconcilable differences once again as the reason behind the divorce, with Anthony eventually responding to the request in the same month.

Anthony and Alvina struck up a relationship back during their college years n the late 1980s and eventually tied the knot 10 years later.

Back in December, Anthony explained how he met her by chance when he was expecting to find someone else in her dorm room.

He said: "My sophomore year, her freshman year, I knew a girl who lived in the apartment, so I went to knock on the door to invite her to this party that me and my buddies were having. My wife answered the door. I was like, 'I was coming to invite Stacey to this party we're having.' Stacey didn't show up, but my wife did -- and we have been together ever since that night. And I was just me: I got there early, she didn't see nobody else, she was, 'All right, I'm gonna rock out with this dude!'"

The 'Truth Hurts' singer recently hailed her follow-up to 2019's Grammy-winning 'Cuz I Love You' "bad***".

Meanwhile, Lizzo is set to be the subject of a new documentary about her rise to superstardom.

The 'Good as Hell' hitmaker's currently untitled film for HBO Max will be helmed by Doug Pray, who was heavily involved in the four-part HBO docu-series 'The Defiant Ones' about Dre. Dre and Jimmy Iovine's rise to the top.

The 34-year-old musician said: "Growing up I never dreamed I'd get to experience all of the things I've accomplished in my life, and I'm just getting started.

"From 'Cuz I Love You' to my dramatic world tour, losing and gaining love, and creating my new album 'Special', y'all get to see the amount of time, patience, blood, sweat and tears that went into this process. It takes ten years to become an 'overnight success,' and hopefully I can inspire other young creatives to keep going."

She said: "I had to blaze a trail. There was no Lizzo before Lizzo."

Ahead of the film's release later this year, Lizzo will release her new album 'Special' on July 15.

Jennifer Lopez livid at being forced to share Super Bowl stage with Shakira

Jennifer Lopez was livid she was forced to split her Super Bowl half time performance with Shakira.

The singer, 51, branded the joint show in 2021 the "worst idea in the world" in her new documentary 'Halftime', the eagerly-awaited Netflix documentary on the star that will be available to stream from Tuesday. (14.06.22)

Directed by Amanda Micheli, 42, it shows an angry Lopez going toe-to-toe with NFL bosses over why they wanted two women to do a job that is usually given to a single artist.

She raged: "This was the worst idea in the world," later adding: "This is something I have been working for and hoping for for years."

Lopez and Colombian singer Shakira, 45, eventually found it possible to work together but despite being professional, their relationship was said to be frosty.

'Halftime' premiered Wednesday (08.06.22) in New York City at the Tribeca Film Festival, with the title also a nod to JLo - dubbed 'Jenny from the Block' - entering her 50s.

Lopez said before the premiere she is having the best time of her life with boyfriend Ben Affleck, 49, after they reignited their relationship from the early 2000s.

The mum of 14-year-old twins Max and Emme told Good Morning America: "This is the best time of my life. I love my career but nothing is more fulfilling to me than being able to build a family with someone who I love deeply and is just as dedicated to family and to each other as we can be.

"I love the idea of the future and what we can create. But I really just want to savour the moment and stay real present in it as much as I can."

Johnny Depp and Jeff Beck to release joint album 18

Johnny Depp is teaming up with close pal Jeff Beck on the forthcoming album, '18'.

The Hollywood actor has been on the road performing with the legendary musician and celebrating the result of his defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, which saw him awarded $15 million in damages.

Depp and Beck have been friends since 2016, and the album has been in the making since 2019.

It includes "Depp originals along with a wide range of covers that touches on everything from Celtic and Motown, to the Beach Boys and Killing Joke."

Beck said in a statement: "When Johnny and I started playing together, it really ignited our youthful spirit and creativity. We would joke about how we felt 18 again, so that just became the album title too."

At the duo's shows, they have been performing their rendition of John Lennon classic 'Isolation', which is included on the digital and CD version of the LP.

The 13-tracker includes Depp's original track, 'This Is A Song For Miss Hedy Lamarr', which he sought approval of the estate of late Austrian-born American actress Hedy Lamarr before releasing, and is out now.

Depp asked Beck to play lead guitar on the ode to the 'Dishonored Lady' star, and the rest is history.

Becks said: "I was blown away by it.

"That song is one of the reasons I asked him to make an album with me."

The other Depp original is 'Sad Mother*****' Parade'.

Hollywood Vampires rocker Depp remarked: "It's an extraordinary honour to play and write music with Jeff, one of the true greats and someone I am now privileged enough to call my brother."

Beck hopes the album will make people take the 'Chocolat' star "seriously as a musician".

The 77-year-old guitar god added: "I haven't had another creative partner like him for ages.

"He was a major force on this record. I just hope people will take him seriously as a musician because it's a hard thing for some people to accept that Johnny Depp can sing rock and roll."

'18' will be available on CD and digitally, with a 180-gram black vinyl version on September 30. The cover features an illustration of Beck and Depp when they were both 18 and is drawn and designed by Beck's wife Sandra.

Beck has launched a European tour, with 59-year-old Depp as special guest, which will conclude on July 25 at L'Olympia in Paris.

Away from his Hollywood career, Depp is known for his band The Hollywood Vampires, with Alice Cooper and Aerosmith's Joe Perry.

Beck played guitar on their track 'Welcome To Bushwackers' from their 2019 LP 'Rise'.
