Photos: American Country Awards
The fans of country music love Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line and they proved it again Tuesday during the American Country Awards. Bryan was named artist of the year and Florida Georgia Line was the top winner, with six trophies, including new artist and single of the year for the "Cruise" remix with Nelly. Taylor Swift, the night's top nominee with eight, won the worldwide touring award and gave an acceptance speech taped, appropriately enough, in Australia where she's on tour. LeAnn Rimes broke down in tears during her tribute to Patsy Cline. NASCAR driver Danica Patrick co-hosted the show with Trace Adkins.
