Work is progressing on Diablos Sports Bar and Grill at 2545 S. Craycroft Road, in the former home of the Post Time Bar and Grill.
Diablos could open within a month or so, said Anthony Aldecoa, the 34-year-old general manager.
The sports bar will offer traditional bar fare, including burgers, sandwiches, wings, nachos and spicy food to go along with its name. Food will be priced $10 or less.
It will also have three pool tables, more than 20 televisions and probably will offer karaoke.
Post Time was an unassuming fixture near the Davis-Monthan Air Force base for decades. State records show its liquor license was first issued in 1961.
