Lucky Wishbone opened its sixth location in Tucson last Thursday, on East 22nd Street near South Tucson Boulevard.
The popular purveyor of chicken, steak fingers and fries has plans to open a seventh location on the southeast corner of South Mission and West Silverlake roads.
Lucky Wishbone has been a Tucson tradition since the first restaurant opened in 1953 at South Sixth Avenue and West Irvington Road. That location moved a few blocks south in 1982. The company closed its 43-year-old location on South Wilmot Road last December.
