Janet Wilcox, manager of Ted's Country Store, gave us the mixture used to make the deviled eggs on the the store's catering menu, but she tweaked it a little so you can make them at home.
Using about a half-dozen hard-boiled eggs, cut them in half and scoop out the yolk. Put yolks in a bowl and mix with a pinch of dill and salt and pepper, and a dash of finely diced capers, about one-quarter tablespoon of mustard, a tablespoon of mayonnaise. Adjust the mayo amount for consistency; you don't want the stuffing to be runny.
Pack the mixture into the dozen egg whites and sprinkle with paprika.
