Springtime is here, and so is Doc's, a rooftop grill opening Friday at McClintock's at Saguaro Ranch.
The menu of grilled meats, fish and vegetables will be served until November, when Doc's will close for the winter. In addition to a handcrafted Argentine grill and a stone fireplace, Doc's boasts awe-inspiring views of the desert, the city lights and the mountains.
"You can enjoy the star view at nighttime, and during the day it's unbelievable," general manager Denis Boaro said. The restaurant, at 3755 W. Conrads Way in Marana, is enclosed only by a hardwood ramada, so sunsets are especially stunning.
Boaro said prices will range from $20 to $40 per person, and he recommends making reservations at least a day in advance by calling 579-2100.
Hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 5 to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
