Whole Foods Market at River and Craycroft roads is open for business.
The store, 5555 E. River Road, opened its doors Wednesday.
The long-vacant space, which had housed different grocery stores years ago, has been transformed into a market with several dine-in options. The 36,000-square-foot Whole Foods has a juice and smoothie bar, pizza oven, sandwich shop and taqueria that use organic produce, a gelato section and an in-store bar serving beer, wine and pub food.
