Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel play young lovers with "big secrets" in "Safe Haven," based on a formulaic novel by Nicholas Sparks about a woman who flees her abusive husband and takes up with a sensitive widower.
No. 7: '21 and Over' with $2.6 million (last week No. 6)

No. 3: 'Identity Thief' with $6.3 million (last week No. 2)
Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman lead the cast of "Identity Thief", a road trip comedy about a man who finds out how crazed he can get trying to settle a bad credit score after his identity is stolen.
No. 2: 'Jack the Giant Slayer' with $10 million (last week No. 1)
Peter Elliott is Sentry Giant in the film. Jack's quest includes rescuing a princess carried up into the giants' territory by the beanstalk.
