Less than a year after jumping into Tucson’s hip-hop scene, Lando Chill is releasing his debut album.
And he’s invited some of his fellow Tucson artists to join the fun on Friday, March 4. The lineup for his show includes Matt Haze, Combine Vibes, Fox Bodies, Copper & Congress, DJ Parker A, and Altrice.
The music starts at 8 p.m. at Club Congress, 311 E. Congress St., and it’s a 21-and-older show. Admission is free.
Also at Club Congress:
- This is quite possibly the craziest show on a Tucson stage this week: a mariachi group that specializes in classic heavy metal covers. That’s what’s on tap when Hollywood band Metalachi takes the stage at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 5, with Tucson’s own Sugar Stains opening. $10 cover and this is a 21-and-older show.
- Tucson comedians Jacob Breckenridge and Pauly Casillas will host the Switch Comedy Show at 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 9. Local comedians will hone their improv skills, acting on audience suggestions. The show is for 21-and-older; admission is free.
