Ensphere, a Tucson four-piece with a flair for the theatrical, will celebrate the release of its debut CD with a concert at 9 p.m. Friday at Plush, 340 E. Sixth St.
The full-length CD, "Corpuscle," will be available at the show. It's the first release on Pitball Records, a Tucson label.
Formed in 2001, the trip-rock band went through a few incarnations before morphing into the current lineup, intact since 2008: Randall Swindell, Ryan Stertz, Serena Rose and Michael Ludovici.
On its website, Ensphere describes its show as an "uplifting and deeply mesmerizing multimedia/musical barrage on the senses, which comprises Adam Cooper's live sound-sensitive video projections."
Blind Divine and Strata Divide are also on the bill. Admission is $5.
