It's a rare thing, the hipster band that's more interested in dancing than shoe-gazing.
Cobra Starship is best known for its "Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)" track, which accompanied the Samuel L. Jackson movie that spawned a cult following.
The group is signed to the same label as Fall Out Boy and Paramore, and the band's new album, "Hot Mess," features the single "Good Girls Go Bad" with a music video that features "Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester.
This might be a good time to catch the musicians in an intimate setting before they graduate to larger venues.
Cobra Starship will play an all-ages show at Club Congress on Wednesday with guests Plastiscines, the Friday Night Boys and Skeet Skeet.
Tickets cost $20, and doors open at 6 p.m.
