The Beach Boys will open their 50th anniversary tour at Casino del Sol's AVA April 24.
Tickets go on sale Feb. 25 through www.ticketmaster.com
The show will be the first in a tour of 40-plus dates that takes the surviving original members of the 1960s California pop group around the globe. Stops include cities throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe from April through August.
Brothers Brian, Carl and Dennis Wilson formed the Beach Boys with their cousin Mike Love and friend Al Jardine in 1961. Dennis Wilson died in 1983 and Carl died in 1998.
In 1962, they signed with Capitol Records and quickly gained a devoted following for their catalog of sun- and beach-drenched California surfer songs including "Good Vibrations," "Surfin' Safari," "Little Deuce Coupe," "California Girls" and "County Fair" among the dozens of iconic tunes that featured catchy melodies and strong vocal harmonies.
