There's this really happening trip-hop duo from Seattle playing at Plush next Wednesday night.
They call themselves Two Loons for Tea, and the lead loon is undoubtedly Sarah Scott. Take a listen to this woman's voice and you'll understand why she's being compared favorably to everyone from Billie Holiday to Björk.
Her partner in crime is Jonathan Kochmer, who plays guitars, bass and keyboards. The duo's latest CD, "Nine Lucid Dreams," is being hailed far and wide for its beguiling, mysterious pop ambiance.
