Elton John defends Kevin Spacey at London sexual assault trial
Associated Press reports that Elton John and his husband were enlisted by Kevin Spacey's legal team to appear in court and defend the actor. On July 17, John appeared in London court along with his husband to testify that Spacey was not in attendance at an annual gala ball at the couple's Windsor home. Spacey's accuser claims that the Oscar winning actor attacked him in a car. Spacey has pleaded not guilty to a dozen charges that include counts of both sexual and indecent assault.
