Hundreds of Tucsonans gathered inside Gene C. Reid Park to honor the life of activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday morning.

The festivities included a march around the park, words from local politicians and activists, live-entertainment, community information, and retail vendors.

MLK day is celebrated on the third Monday of January each year.
