Photos: Habitat for Humanity Tucson helps 12 local families become homeowners
Habitat for Humanity Tucson celebrated a major milestone on Friday morning with the dedication of the first 12 homes at Angels Crossing.
The new community at Angels Crossing was made possible by a grant from the Diane & Bruce Halle Foundation, Pima County and several corporations, foundations and individuals. This is the first Habitat for Humanity Tucson neighborhood to include the use of solar panels donated by TEP and supported by Solar Gain.
Each new homeowner completed over 250 sweat equity hours, attended financial literacy classes, and saved for a downpayment.
