Canyon del Oro early education and sports medicine students hosted the first annual Teddy Bear clinic for CDO preschoolers on Tuesday morning.
The Teddy Bear clinic is inspired by the children’s novel “The Reading Pig Goes to the Teddy Bear Clinic” created by Nic Clement and Beth Francis, two Tucson locals. Dr. Clement served nine years as the Superintendent of Flowing Wells School District in Tucson, Arizona. Beth Francis is HealthCare & Community Service Coordinator at Tucson Medical Center Hospital.
