Shawn Martinez and two other people wanted in connection with a string of burglaries were arrested after tips provided to 88-CRIME helped to identify the suspects, authorities said.
Pima County Sheriff's Department detectives obtained photos from a local business showing one of the suspects using a gift card that was stolen during an August 1 burglary, according to a department news release.
Following the arrests of two suspects after they were identified by their photos from an 88-CRIME tip, detectives received additional information about the burglary suspects and served a search warrant on three properties, finding evidence from at least three burglaries committed over the past month.
Martinez was booked into Pima County jail on one count of second degree burglary, the release said.
