Christopher Cruz, 30, and two other people have been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in the shooting death of a Hereford man in September 2014.
On Sept. 20, 2014, Andrew Gasson was found dead in his home by his mother when she went to check on him after not hearing from him for some time. Gasson died of a gunshot wound to the head, autopsy reports showed, said Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Carol Capas. There are indications the crime was drug-related, she said.
The suspects were identified as Cruz, 31-year-old Martin Wetstein and 22-year-old Kelly Tarrant, following months of investigation, including hundreds of interviews in Arizona and Idaho, Capas said on Jan. 9.
All have been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder.
