Hernan Castro, mushroom expert of Tucson's Sky Islands dupe for newsletter
Hernan Castro, mycologist and founder of Desert Alchemist, holds a Horse Agaricus mushroom while volunteers use their phones as lights and record Castro talking in the Santa Catalina Mountains. Castro started Desert Alchemist, a local company, a couple years ago after his father got sick. He looked to medical properties of mushrooms and herbs to make extracts for his father.
