He will come to your whistle, give kisses, stop chewing with “no bite” command, and is working on “sit.” He is 90% potty trained. While he may be a bit reserved at first, he warms up quickly, finding comfort on a lap and serenading you with his purrs.

Vaquero is a young guy who was brought to the shelter in March 2024 when his owner could no longer care for him. Vaquero has been friendly with other dogs since arriving here at PACC and is even sharing his kennel politely with another dog.
