Story: This pretty boy came to the Hermitage because we’re able to care for kitties who are FIV+. He is a rather quiet gentle-cat, and really loves ear scritchies. He would thrive in a quiet home as an only fur kid because of his quieter temperament. He generally keeps himself company, and doesn’t mind doing his own kitty-thing. Story: Polka Dot is one of three beautiful black and white kittens that were trapped from a colony of desert cats. Her sisters and her were really scared because they were never around people very much. Their foster dad at Paws Patrol worked really hard to get them to trust him. Polka Dot totally got it! Once she learned that she was safe and loved, she went to live at another foster’s home where she made great friends with a small boy. The more people she meets the better, so now Polka Dot lives in a home with another kitten, cats, and a dog! She’s turning into a brave, very socialized and sweet girl. Even though she’s a little shy at first, won’t you give this tuxedo kitty a chance to be part of your family? With patience and a lot of love, she’s going to be an awesome family member.

Age: 7 years
Story: Millie has always been a good kitty and had a great life with her human mom in Arivaca. They loved each other very much and were always together until Millie’s mom became sick, and her family came and took her away. But they forgot about Millie! Suddenly this kitty was left outside with no food and no water. Some cats can catch prey, find water, and stay safe in the desert. But Millie was seven years old and had always had her human. Luckily, a neighbor noticed Millie and came to her rescue. Thanks to Paws Patrol, Millie was able to see the doctor. Turns out she was very sick. Millie is a fighter and was diagnosed with hepatic lipidosis (fatty liver syndrome) brought on by starvation. After lots of meds, food, and love, she has a clean bill of health and is looking for her forever home. She likes to live in a home with only humans. Millie is a great cat who adores being brushed, petted, loved on and shares her affection in return.

Story: At six months old Figgy was found with his two sisters on a lonely dirt road. After removing cactus spines on his face and feet a kind person brought him to TALGV. Story: Annie and Grady are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Annie is a DSH Dilute Calico. She is a very sweet, calm kitty. She loves her best friend, Grady; they snuggle together and groom each other. Grady is a DMH white and gray. Grady is an active playful boy. He loves to run and play chase with the other young cats.
