After 37 years, Vanna White filled in for Pat Sajak on "Wheel of Fortune" as he recovered from surgery. Here's a look at the famous letter turner over the years.

Big wheels keep on turning, even when Pat Sajak gets sick, so "Wheel of Fortune" sidekick Vanna White is taking her turn in the spotlight as host.
Ryan Seacrest will become the new “Wheel of Fortune” host after Pat Sajak’s retirement next year, the latest hosting gig for the popular “American Idol” host.
Once seen as unhip, game shows are much more attractive now to actors, comics and other celebrities with dollar signs in their eyes.
Pat Sajak announced his retirement last June. He began his “Wheel of Fortune” tenure in 1981, succeeding original host Chuck Woolery. Ryan Seacrest will succeed Sajak.
