WOOD, Raymond A. "Woody," of Tucson, Arizona died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, January 6, 2013. He was born in Henniker, New Hampshire on December 4, 1931, to George and Francis Wood. Woody served in the United States Air Force for 20 years of which he retired as a Staff Sergeant in 1972. During his time of service, he was stationed at various points throughout the world which included time serving in the Korean and Vietnam wars. Following his retirement, he moved his family back to his home state of New Hampshire where he worked for Shasta Company and Norton Company. He was predeceased by both of his parents and two of his sons, Kevin D. Wood and Keith P. Wood. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Mary and Margaret. He leaves his four children, Mark Wood of Afton, VA, Terri Trier of Henniker, NH, Gregg Wood of Tucson, AZ and Karen Wood of Leesburg, FL and his beloved dog, Eddie. He also leaves his son-in-law, Joe Trier, and daughter-in-law, Liz Wood along with seven grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.
