GRANILLO, Richard A. RET. MSGT US AIR FORCE NATIONAL GUARD 4-2-1957 / 5-7-2017
Richard passed away suddenly on May 7, 2017. He has joined his parents, Guadalupe and Carmen Granillo; his sister, Ramona and brothers, Felipe and Frank. He leaves his sons George, Richard Jr., Daniel, and Clemente Fco. Grieving their loss are his siblings, Trinie (George (dec)) Rivera, his twin sister, Rachel Gallegos, Irene (Jose Jaime) Rodriguez and Martin Granillo, plus many nieces and nephews. Richard was a native Tucsonan who graduated from Sunnyside High School before joining the Air Force and making it his career. One of Richard's greatest joys were his cookouts with his sons, family and friends. Those who knew him knew they could count on a hot meal and a bed if hard times hit. Richard never expected anything in return. The memories he leaves are too many to be counted, but none will ever be forgotten. Dear Richard: "May the tears, pain and suffering your family is feeling help pave the path to your eternal home in heaven. May you rest in peace.''
