Sorrowfully we announce the passing of our beloved Al on December 20, 2016. Born September 16, 1934 to Charles and Edith White in Miami, FL. After high school he attended the Air Force cadet program and received his wings in Lubbock, TX, June 1955. He served 20 years as a pilot, spending time in Japan, Korea and Vietnam. After retirement he studied bookkeeping, specializing in church finances and served several Tucson area Baptist churches. Al is survived by his wife of 60 years, Billye Ruth; daughters, Susan and Kathi; precious granddaughter, Riley and sister, Louise Moore. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2016, 10:30 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 5353 E. 5th St. Anyone wishing to honor Al's memory with a donation can send it to: Rainbow Acres, 2120 W.
