Agnes T. Gahagan
86, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012. Agnes was born on January 27, 1926, in New York City. On September 25, 1947, she married Robert J. Gahagan, who predeceased her on October 15, 1973. She is also predeceased by her granddaughter, Kathleen Gahagan (in 2003), and her daughter-in-law, Lesley Gahagan (in 2011). She is survived by her four children, Kathleen (Jack) Buchanan, Patricia (Irwin) Graham, Robert Gahagan and Maureen (Roger) Vande Mheen. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amy (Pete) Tees, Melanie (Michael) Mixon, Russell (Casey) Graham, Ashleigh Graham, Justin (Dioare) Chastain, Colin (Denae) Gahagan, Christi Gahagan, Gerrit (Angela) Vande Mheen and Summer Vande Mheen. In addition, she is survived by her great-grandchildren, Addison, Jordan, Devin, Maliyah, Jimmy, Eliusi, Tiffany, Kevin, Iris, Brody, Izabella, Zach and Ella. Agnes' greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She took great pride in the many years she volunteered at the St. Joseph's Hospital Gift Shop and the many friends she made there. Agnes' family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Casa de la Luz Hospice who cared for her in her final days. Private family services are planned. Arrangements by DESERT SUNSET.
