Our loving dad went home to be with our Lord on October 13, 2014. Preceded in death by his wife, Adela; daughters, Petra Martinez and Maria Montijo. Survived by daughters, Cecilia Montijo, Maryann Rivera, Norma (Louie) Encinias, Diana (Rudy) Pinedo and Rosalva Valenzuela; sons, Pachuco (Gloria) Montijo, Jose Montijo, Adam Montijo, Johnny (Sue) Rivera and Humberto (Nery) Rivera-Gonzalez; sister, Connie Yslas; brother, Willie Montijo. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel) 240 S. Stone Ave., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Friday, October 17, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Church, 1300 N. Greasewood. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Our dad was a compassionate man who loved his family dearly. His laughter, humor and advice he gave to so many will be greatly missed. He will always remain in our hearts!
