"Bobbie Sue" passed away on May 17, 2017 at the age of 90 from complications of Alzheimer's. She had been a resident of Colorado Springs CO, Tucson, AZ and southeastern Texas. Bobbie was born to David Lamar Henry and Opal Rogers Henry on July 26, 1926 in Arcadia Louisiana. She graduated from Refugio (TX) High School and earned her BS in Education from the University of Texas. She met Paul Stockton and they were married on August 16, 1952. Bobbie resumed her teaching career and made contributions as Director of Children's Ministries for St Paul's UMC and Desert Skies UMC in Tucson until she retired. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her sister, Maxine Reilly. She will be greatly missed by many friends and all of her family. She leaves behind her brother and sister-in-law, James Henry and Penny Henry; her eldest daughter, Paula Gail McCormick (Terry McCormick); her son, David Christopher Stockton (Tammie Stockton) and her daughter, Suzanne Stockton Miller (John Miller). She also leaves behind ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at a future date in Tucson, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Since mom devoted her life in service to the Lord, we know that Jesus opened his arms and said "Good and faithful servant, Welcome Home".
