Floyd Phillips
age 103, of Tucson, retired railroad engineer with Southern Pacific Railroad, took his last call on "The Glory Express" Sunday, September 8, 2013. He was born January 21, 1910 in Grubbs, Arkansas. Floyd is survived by his niece, Audrey (Tex) Thomas of Tucson; several grandchildren, nephews and additional nieces. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rachel; one son, Robert W. and his identical twin brother, Loyd Phillips. At his request there will be no formal funeral services in Tucson. There will be a Visitation Thursday, September 12, 2013, 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd. Burial will take place at the family cemetery in Cave City, Arkansas.
