Myra Lane Ransick
76, of Tucson, Arizona, died peacefully on November 4, 2015, surrounded by her husband and family. She leaves behind her husband of 31 years, Scott E. Ransick; her son, John N. Rogers III; daughters, Myra Lee Anderson, Mary Alice Sudduth and Nancy Lane Delacerda; her ten grandchildren, sister, Marsha Wilkins and cousin, Myra Yvonne Darling. She was born in Ft. Smith, AR, on May 27, 1939. Myra graduated from Ft. Smith High School in 1957. She later attended the University of Arkansas where she obtained her JD degree in 1983. After leaving Arkansas, she and Scott lived and worked across the United States for many years. As she always advised others to do, Myra bloomed where she was planted. A devout Christian all her life, Myra was an active member of St. Philip's In The Hills Episcopal Church in Tucson, AZ, working in the Altar Guild, children's and music ministries. A woman of unconditional grace and strength, Myra always lived life to the fullest with family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 5, 2015 at St. Philip's In The Hills Episcopal Church, Tucson. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Philip's After School Music Program.
