Susan Donohoe Brown
Passed away peacefully on March 21, 2012 ending a life gratefully and joyfully lived. Born on April 15, 1932 in Anaconda, MT. She graduated from Anaconda High in 1949. Graduating from the University of Arizona in 1953 with a BA in Fine Arts, she was a member of Spurs, FST, Mortar Board and Delta Delta Delta Sorority and was active in the drama department at Herring Hall. She and husband, Calvin Brown moved to Cananea in 1958. There she raised her family and taught at Cananea English School. She moved to Leadville, CO in 1976. In 1982 she returned to Tucson and enjoyed working at The Haunted Bookstore until she retired. Preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Carroll Donohoe; her brother, John and her daughter, Calista. She is survived by her sister, Calista Schafer; six children, nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of Sue's life at San Pedro Chapel Old Ft. Lowell on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favorite charity. Arrangements by SONORAN SKIES MORTUARY.
