He loved working around the home and loved to successfully tackle a wide variety of challenges. Some hobbies included painting, wood work, sculpting, and metal works. Bob worked for IBM for 32 years after leaving the Navy. He began in his home state working in Rochester, MN. In '79 he moved the family to someplace warmer - Tucson. The family instantly felt at home. Predeceased by his second wife, Linda (Huber) (of IL) who passed a short time after the move. After his retirement, he worked and volunteered for several places. Near his end, he was working on planes at Pima Air & Space Museum. Bob was never one to sit still too long. He loved keeping busy and was great at accomplishing things. He touched the lives of so many in a very positive way. Bob will be missed. Celebration of Life, Sunday, October 20, 2013, 12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m. at 4414 E. Ft. Lowell Rd.
