GIPSON, Hazel Lucille (Lucy), November 15, 1921 April 26, 2013. Raised in South Whitley, IN. She was pre-deceased by her two husbands, Charles Wood and Jim Gipson; an infant son, Terry and her daughter, Dawn Wood of Gilroy, CA. She is survived by stepdaughter, Greta Knight and her daughter, Katie of Sierra Vista, AZ; stepson, Michael Gipson and his three sons, of Tucson and three nieces and nephews. Lucy worked 16 years in the cafeteria at Canyon Del Oro High School where she made many lifelong friends. She was a member of St. Mark's UMC, serving with the United Methodist Women, the Folders, and the Membership Care Committee. Lucy enjoyed gardening, but she loved her Westies, Megan and Patrick. Services were held at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, on May 6, 2013. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.
