William Randall "Bill" Tait
died peacefully at home October 16, 2015. He was born August 2, 1921 in Dillon to Alexander "Scotty" Tait and Gladys (Paddock) Tait. In 1947 he met and married Mary Elizabeth "M.E." Yearn Baer. They were married for 63 years. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Alan Dempster Tait and Barbara Tash Tait of Florence Oregon; sister, Mary Tait Maloney of California; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Butch Girard of Dewey Montana; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Mark Madden of Anchorage, Alaska; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Shelley Tait of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Tara Forsberg (Justin), Sidney Forsberg and Alexis and Lauren Welch, all of Three Forks, Montana; grandsons, Charlie Barth of Belgrade, Montana; Dylan and Leo Tait of Tucson, Arizona and much loved nieces and nephews. A Celebration of life will be held at the Butte Country Club on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice, or to the scholarship fund set up by M.E.
