Abram Jacinto
passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Abram was born October 9, 1942 in Douglas, Arizona. Mr. Jacinto was working for Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Mine for 41 years and he was a supporter and members of Lion's Club of Southern Arizona, VFW Post 10188 and American Legion Post 7. Abram was preceded in death by his parents, Isabel and Joseph Jacinto. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Veronica Jacinto; son, Richard (Cynthia) Jacinto of Tucson, AZ; daughters, Isabel (Scott) May of Chandler, AZ and Alvina (James Sr.) Spires of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Anthony, Christina, Nicole and Trevor Jacinto, Ashley and Kathleen May, Caitlyn and James Jr. Spires and great-granddaughter, Bella Jacinto; aunt, Elosia Notre of Los Angeles, CA; brothers, Jose (Rose) Jacinto of Sierra Vista, AZ, Robert (Lali) Jacinto of Tucson, AZ, Frankie (Gloria) Jacinto of Tucson, AZ, Benny (Gloria) Jacinto of Catalina, AZ; sisters, Priscilla (Jonathan) Vanderloop of Victorville, CA and Ellen (Tom) Driscoll of San Diego, CA and many nephews, nieces and friends. He will be missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace. Visitation and Mass will be held at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 12101 W. Moore Rd., Marana, AZ, Saturday, October 29, 2011; Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to DESERT SUNSET FUNERAL HOME.
