Francisco A. Santamaria "Chapo"
Born in Saric Son. Mexico October 3, 1927. Went with the Lord March 11, 2014 in Tucson, Arizona. Preceded in death by sons, Antonio and Victor Santamaria. Survived by his wife, Ana Maria Santamaria; daughters, Anna Tucker (Ted) and Martha Santamaria (Rafael); sons, Francisco Santamaria (Monica), Ernesto and Gilberto Santamaria; his brother, Humberto Santamaria and cousin, Reynaldo Santamaria. In addition he has 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren along with many nephews, nieces and extended family. Chapo left a footprint in many lives and will be greatly missed by all that new him over a great period of time or only for a brief encounter in their lives. He was fortunate to spend his last months in great spirit and comfortable due to all the wonderful caregivers Jodie H., Lourdes G., Jennifer S., Terry B., and the great staff of Gentiva Hospice. Most importantly special thanks to his daughters, Anna and Martha who cared for him at his bedside the last few years of his life and held his hand until he went home. Chapo was a very special soul who worked hard for his family and provided them a great life full of memories. He was a man who cared deeply for his family and friends. Until we meet again.
