Ercelia (Ercie) M. Jurado
Has safely gone home to heaven on August 1, 2012 at the age of 92. Considered to be the matriarch of the Monreal-Jurado family, she will always be remembered as a warm, loving, humorous and physically active woman, two of her memorable passions were her faith in God, engaging in sports with her specialty is softball. Ercie was born on February 7, 1920 in Prescott, AZ to the parents of Lamberto and Concepcion Monreal. Ercie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph (Joemie); first child, Deanna Gardner; her parents and brothers, Lambert and Albert; sisters, Sally, Gail, Tillie, Nellie and Delia. Survived by three sons, Ronald, Albert (Vicki), Michael (Renee); daughter, Rosemary Soto (Albert) and son-in-law, Bruce Gardner; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Other survivors include her sister, Rosemary Chavez and many, many loving nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held Friday, August 10, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN. Service Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN. Interment to follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
