WEBER, Bernard J.
Retired Master Sergeant USAF 82, was born to Barney and Ruth Weber and went home to Our Father in Heaven on June 7, 2016. Bernard is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn; his children, David (Lisa), Cathlene (Alfred), Valerie (Greg) and Bernard John (Jacquelyn). He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Michael. Bernard has nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Bernard enlisted in the United States Air Force and served this nation for more than 21 years. Bernard and Evelyn traveled the world together. Bernard was a dedicated family man and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. Bernard was involved with The Tucson Twirlers (square dancing) for more than 20 years and enjoyed dancing and calling. Bernard was a long time member of the Tucson Bowling Association and served as their treasurer and president. Bernard never met a stranger, he would talk to everyone he met as though they were long lost friends. There will be a Memorial Mass held at St. Francis de Sales on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at the Arizona Veteran Cemetery in Marana on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Diabetes Association.
