MITCHELL, Marian Jean, June 19, 1923 - March 21, 2012. Born in Chicago to Mary Margaret (Mears) and Jess Filson. She married Robert E. Mitchell on May 23, 1953 and they would have celebrated their 60th anniversary next year. Sister of Harriet Bryant; mother of Alfred Frederick Mitchell and Robert Glen Mitchell; grandmother to Stephanie Lynn Mitchell, Laura Ann (Joseph) Hadley, Emily Mansfield Mitchell, Steven Mansfield Mitchell and Grace Elizabeth Mitchell and great- grandmother to Olivia Ellen Marie Hadley and Claire Ann Hadley. Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Ascension Lutheran Church and School, 1220 W. Magee Road, Tucson, AZ 85704. Entombment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.
