Genevieve Anne Snider
born in France on September 27, 1925, peacefully passed away on August 15, 2014. She is survived by her sons, Roy, Don and Alan; daughter-in-law, Christine and grandchildren, Jordan and Jessica. Prior to moving to the Phoenix area to be closer to her family, she lived in Cochise County for almost 50 years, where she raised her three sons, graduated from Cochise College and served as a civil servant for Fort Huachuca. Her fondest memories were of spending time with her grandmother and cousin in the French countryside, marrying Alvie Snider during World War II, becoming a U.S. Citizen, spending holidays with her grandchildren and enjoying the company of her close friends and neighbors. She will always be remembered for her determination, kindness, and generosity. She is deeply missed. Services will be private. Memorial donations can be made to the Arizona Alzheimer's Association.
