CARTER, Pennie Rae (aka "Washtub Wanda") (aka "Aunt Pennie") left us on May 7, 2013 to go play her mandolin with the all star band in the sky. Born June 14, 1959, Pennie spent her life traveling, playing music and warming hearts. She was loved by thousands and will be missed by millions. Pennie is survived by her sister, Patricia Armstrong; brothers, Michael Carter, Mitchel Carter, James Carter and many nieces and nephews, as well as an extended family "coast to coast".
