DESJARDIN, Rodolfo "Rudy" Federico
passed away the evening of November 14, 2017 at the age of 87. He started working at the age of five cleaning the KVOA newsroom in downtown Tucson. After years of work and with his entrepreneurial spirit he opened his own business, Rudy's Custom Cabinets & Tops in Tucson, Arizona. He overcame many health issues, but continued to persevere and run his business, retiring after 42 years in July of 2016. He was a true example of a man that has lived by the word of God, and selfless hard work with no complaint. Thank you grandpa, we love you and we miss you. He is survived by his wife of over 69 years, Lupe Aguilar Desjardin and his children, Ray (Amy) Padilla, Mary Ellen Gallego, Lupita (Ray) Romero, Elva (Dave) Buckwalter, Diane (Neto) Lopez and Darla (Stuart) Tawney; 30 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and the Aguilar family, Tonio (Clara), Chale, Lalo (Sylvia), Frankie, and Rudy (Annie). Open Viewing will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel East Campus, 8711 E. Speedway Blvd. Memorial Service from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery on Oracle Rd. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.
