Lois Horn Gamble
1925 - 2013
Lois was born in Birmingham, Alabama, lived many years in Cleveland, Ohio before moving to Tucson, Arizona in 1969. She was the first Black female mortgage broker in Ohio and later the owner of Doral Lamp Company in Tucson. Lois is survived by her children, Jonathan Horn (Renee), Valerie Price, Janis Stevenson, Leslie Williams; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband John Horn and her second husband Albert Gamble. In lieu of Funeral Services family and friends will gather for an open house in celebration of her life on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Dunbar Pavilion.
