Robert (Bob) Charles Schaller

Bob, our beloved husband, father, brother, son and uncle, passed away in Tucson, Arizona surrounded by his family following a courageous two-month battle with colon cancer. Bob is preceded in death by his father, Richard (Dick); his uncle, Marcel (Buddy) Schaller and aunt, Charlotte Romanoski. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debbie; his children, Amy and Monte; his mother, Dorothy (Dot); his sisters, Dottie (Larry Tabacchi), Barbara (John Hines) and Beth (Cort Sedlock), as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Tucson native, Bob graduated from Salpointe High School (Class of 1970) and attended the University of Arizona. He was a self-employed house painter for nearly 40 years. Bob enjoyed reading, music, hiking and watching sports. Bob was a regular donor to numerous charitable organizations throughout his life. Bob had an unwavering sense of humor and a kind spirit that will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held in January 2012.
