Hazel Jordan

Hazel Jordan was born in Greenup County Kentucky to Gladys and Frank Chaffin. She had two brothers, Homer and William. Hazel graduated from high school in Ohio where she was well liked and enjoyed her friends. She married James O. Jordan on February 14, 1943. Hazel and Jim had one daughter, Janet who is married to Dennis Cox. They have three children: Kara, Lara, and Warren. Kara has three children: Stephen, Montana, and Savannah. Jim and Hazel also had one son, Larry. Jim and Hazel moved permanently to Tucson from Ohio in 1958 where she attended Church of Christ and made Christian friends. Hazel was considered pleasant and funny by her caregivers of the past two years. She loved her family and extended family, and especially the children. Hazel died peacefully in her sleep on the morning of April 12. She will be missed. Hazel will be laid to rest with her husband at East Lawn Palms Cemetery Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
