Ruby "Naomi" Bell
was born on February 24, 1929 in Macon, Georgia to James Franklin and Nancy Shalotta Turner McClanahan. She passed away on January 30, 2012 in Tucson, Arizona. She is survived by her daughters, Gwen Banning and Wanda Hensley (Doug); a son, Mike Bell; a daughter-in-law, Valinda Bell; four grandchildren, Loni Lowe (Richard), Chrystel Banning, Chandler Whitten (Patti) and Cody Bell; four great-grandchildren, Chance Lowe, Brooke Whitten, Lexi Lowe and Ashli Whitten; many nieces and nephews and pets, Buttons and Patches. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Robbie; her parents and all her siblings. Memorial Services will be held at the Mountain View Baptist Church, 3500 W. Overton Rd., Tucson on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Naomi's Memory to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, The Shriners or Casa de la Luz Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to DESERT SUNSET FUNERAL HOME.
