Helen Louise and Hubert Haught
(affectionately known as Wesie), 87, was called to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at her home in Tucson, AZ. Present were her daughters, Alana and Pam (husband, Mack) and granddaughters, Jessica (husband, Eric) and Janell (husband, Daniel) and her only surviving sibling: her brother, Redgie. Wesie was born November 2, 1924, in Gooding, ID. Her family moved to Arizona in 1938 after a brief stay in Reno, NV. She lived most of her life in Globe, AZ, with her husband, Hubert. Wesie and Hubert married in 1944 and were happy together for 62 years (she was very proud to marry into a pioneering Arizona family). She worked as a loan officer at Western Savings and Loan and retired after 18 years. Wesie was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Globe, a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi, and a longtime member of the Wednesday Book Club. She was an accomplished seamstress, a joyful singer and a vibrant dancer. Her particular passion was her family. Wesie was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert (August 8, 2006, age 88). She is survived by daughters, Alana Haught and Pam Stuart (Mack); grandchildren, Jessica Jacobs (Eric), Janell Beach (Daniel), David Stuart (Ana), Matthew Stuart and Kahua Truman (Koa), as well as five great-grandchildren and her youngest brother, Redgie Mull (Kathleen). Services will be at Northwest Bible Church, 889 W. Chapala Dr., Tucson, AZ on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. On Saturday February 18, 2012, a Viewing will be held at LAMONT MORTUARY, Globe, AZ from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., with graveside Services in Young, AZ at 3:30 p.m.
