Mary Angus
88, passed peacefully on August 19, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert; daughter, Jean (Rich); son, Walter (Theresa) and son, Jay (Lori). Mary was very proud of her two grandsons, Chris (Janet) and Scott (fiancée Beth). She grew up in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, graduated from State Teacher's College at Lock Haven and received a master's degree in education and psychology from Penn State University. Mary taught special education before moving to Tucson, where she focused on raising her three children. In 1971, Mary began working at UofA's College of Medicine as a beloved administrative assistant for student records. Mary was a lifelong volunteer, spending years at the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. Throughout her life, she was involved at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church. Mary was especially proud of her time in Circle and the Presbyterian Women, both statewide and nationally. A Memorial Service to celebrate Mary's life is being held Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 3809 E. 3rd Street.
