Refugia (Cuca) Valdez
Our dearest mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend is now pain free. The Lord has granted her cry for mercy as she called to his for help, with her hands lifted towards God's Most Holy Place in the company of her family. Preceded in death by parents, Francisco and Martina Martinez; husband, Raul Valdez; sister, Francisca Martinez; brother, Baldemar Martinez and grandson, Matthew Antunez. Survived by daughters, Lupe V. Lopez and Santa Maria Antunez; sons, Raul Valdez Jr. and David Valdez; sister, Albertina Valdez; brothers, Ismael and Jose Martinez; 12 grandchildren and 20 great- grandchildren. Mass will be offered Friday, February 6, 2015, 10:30 a.m. at St. Auhustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. The family would like to extend our thanks to the St. Joseph's Hospital doctors, ICU staff and Father George Farias for their support through our most difficult moments.
